Endowment Fund

Lifespan Fund (Broadscope Endowment Fund) Sustainability for Today…and Tomorrow!   Your gifts of time, talents, and financial resources are vital to the programs of Broadscope Disability Services, and to the people we serve every day. Our Employment, Independent Living, and Respite programs are a primary resource to people with disabilities and their families in Southeastern Wisconsin.  We plan, evaluate, strategize, and make decisions every single day on the best way to serve our consumers and families. We want to remain a positive impact to more and more people. But what about next year? What about the year after next?  As children with disabilities get older, what will their needs be? 10 years from now? 20 years?  In 2015 Broadscope Disability Services invested in an endowment fund to ensure the sustainability of our social service agency for years to come, which, in turn, ensures the care and advancement of opportunities for the people and families we serve.  We named this Endowment Fund our “Lifespan Fund” to emphasize that we are here to support people with disabilities from birth through retirement and beyond. From providing Respite for the parents and caregivers of children, to assistance with the school/career transition as teenagers.  From helping individuals retain a job as young adults, and providing the assistance needed to maintain their independent life with daily living skills training, assistance in finding affordable accessible housing, and navigating resources in the community, whatever the individualized need may be.  Our Lifespan (Endowment) Fund with the Greater Milwaukee Foundation helps us now, and provides us with a strong future.  Friends and advocates have made gifts to our Endowment Fund and SO CAN YOU!
