What do you believe sets Broadscope apart?
Broadscope staff really cares about our clients and also care about one another. We’re co-workers but it’s also a family like feeling here. Everyone has each other’s backs.
How long have you worked for Broadscope and what made you choose to work with individuals with disabilities?
I’ve worked here for almost 21 years! My anniversary is April 4th. I first became a volunteer and wanted to help where I could. I’ve always loved talking on the phone and the idea of being a receptionist was introduced. I transitioned to a paid position and here I am…21 years later!
Favorite memory from working at Broadscope
I can’t think of just one but I love how supportive everyone is. Staff wear many different hats and everyone pitches in when needed.
What was your first job?
I worked at Time Insurance doing clerical duties.
How do you like spending your free time?
I love watching movies. My favorite movie is Sound of Music.
What do you most look forward to doing after the pandemic?
Everything! I really miss hugs and I can’t wait to go to in person church.
